Elvis contract a hit at £30k
ELVIS Presley’s first music agency contract has sold at auction for £30,000.
The King signed it in four places on January 31 1956, a day after recording Blue Suede Shoes.
A buyer in the room at Henry Aldridge auctions in Devizes, Wilts, saw off strong online bidding.
Elvis’s Screen Actors Guild contract, that let him star in movies, also sold for £6,200. Pyjamas he wore in hospital five months before he died, aged 42, fetched £6,000.
