Lisa’s showdown
Lisa Fowler’s return to Walford was the big surprise in Eastenders last Friday as she shocked injured daughter Louise by turning up to be at her hospital bedside.
But the fireworks start on Tuesday as Lisa, played by Lucy Benjamin, comes face-to-face with Louise’s dad Phil Mitchell, whom she shot in 2001 before quitting Albert Square.
It’s fair to say the Mitchell family give her a less than welcoming reception this week.
Lucy said: “They think Lisa’s been a bad mum, she’s not been there for Louise. But I also think Lisa hasn’t been informed about what’s going on with Louise.
“There’s always going to be drama when Lisa is anywhere near Phil. There’s going to be fireworks. I think he’s a trigger for lots of things going wrong for Lisa. It will be quite explosive.”
