Business Sec seeks ban on Kids Co chief
THE ex-boss of Kids Company Camila Batmanghelidjh and its former chairman Alan Yentob face being banned from running companies for up to six years.
The Insolvency Service has written to its one time directors telling them that Business Secretary Greg Clark intends to bring action against them.
The youth charity folded amid a storm of controversy in August 2015, days after receiving a £3million grant in a final bid to keep it afloat.
Proceedings will name all former directors and its CEO Batmanghelidjh.
The Insolvency Service said: “As this matter will now be tested in the court it is not appropriate to comment further.” and the lack of support offered by other royals, including the Queen.
Speaking in 1992, the year her marriage to Prince Charles ended, Diana believed his allies were trying to paint her as an unfit mother.
Jephson said: “It’s her irreverent, spontaneous and indomitable spirit that comes through loud and clear, despite the difficulties.”
Diana hired Peter Settelen to help with her public speaking voice. Channel 4 says the tapes are an “important historical source”. But Diana’s pals, including Rosa Monckton, said their use “betrayed her privacy” and would hurt Wills and Harry.
Neither Prince has commented and say they will keep their views private.
