HOLLYOAKS stars staged a wedding on the soap’s set for fan Clare Trotter, 34 – who weds Nick Arkell, 35, for real in Chester today. BOXER Amir Khan has launched a stinging public attack on his wife, apparently accusing her of cheating with world heavyweight champ Anthony Joshua.

Khan and Faryal Makhdoom’s breakup was revealed in a series of explosive tweets on their social media accounts.

One of his furious messages on Twitter about his wife yesterday used the term “golddigger”.

The tweets suggested a divorce has been agreed on and dragged fellow British fighter Joshua into the argument.

Khan said: “Faryal moved on quick. Always mentioned to me how much she wanted to be with another guy, from all people another boxer @anthonyjoshua.”

The former light-welterweight world champ added: “Moved up in the weight classes lol. Trust me I ain’t the jealous type. No need to send me pictures of the men your talking to #disgusted.”

Faryal, 26, then apparently unleashed a furious tirade against her husband.

One message said: “I’m not the one who has been in the papers every month with my pants down. Cheater!”

Joshua, 27, laughed off suggestions he has played any part, quoting the song It Wasn’t Me by Shaggy, adding he goes for BBW – short for big beautiful women.

He wrote: “Bantz aside, I hope you guys can resolve your situation or this is a hack as we have never even met!”

The storm erupted while Khan, 30, was in Dubai, where the couple have recently been celebrating her birthday.

One message said: “So me and the wife Faryal have agreed to split... Wish her all the best.”

After appearing to suggest his wife was involved with Joshua, he said: “Left my family and friends for this Faryal. I’m not hurt but another fighter. I’m making it public. You getting the divorce.”

It was followed up with: “Mans like Joshua can have my left overs!”

Faryal’s twitter account said: “He’s in Dubai right now with a prostitude [sic]. While i’m getting accused of cheating?

“Treating the mother of his child like this, is sickening.”

The rant also said: “I’m sure you left your family because they robbed you? Not because of me. Stop making… things Amir Iqbal Khan AGE 30
