Miller: We are after you Bhoys
KENNY MILLER has warned Celtic there will be no more easy rides as he vowed to give them a run for their money in the title race.
The Rangers stalwart was embarrassed to finish third and a whopping 39 points behind their arch rivals as the Hoops coasted to six-in-a-row in their invincible domestic campaign.
But this time he insists Pedro Caixinha has built a side capable of mounting a serious challenge and heap the pressure on the Hoops to hang on to their crown.
Miller said: “You don’t want to give anyone an easy ride and over the course of last season we were not anywhere close enough to put pressure on anybody.
“Even Aberdeen at the end of the season, we finished nine points behind them. As much as it was competitive for the majority of the season for second spot, we want to be challenging for the league.
“To do that we need to be more competitive, more consistent, we needed to improve the squad which I think we’ve done. Only time will tell if it’s going to be good enough to have a sustained challenge towards the end of the season.
“But we can’t be dropping silly points and giving ourselves a mountain to climb which we did last season.
“What we need to do is get a bit of belief, a bit of confidence, within the squad and we have definitely built that up within the last week with three very good results and very good performances.
“We are going into this really positive and hopeful.”
