Harry solves US kidnap mystery ...from Staines

Gamer finds girl after online chat

- BY CHRISTOPHER BUCKTIN US Editor

A SUPERMARKET worker cracked the case of a girl aged four taken away in the US – from his bedroom 5,000 miles away.

Harry Brown was contacted by Yvette Henley’s grandparents after the girl’s dad disappeared with her.

They had spotted the avid online gamer, 21, was one of Virgil Henley’s Facebook contacts and begged for help, even though he lived in Staines.

So Harry began messaging Henley and traced him to a motel in Arizona after offering to order him pizza.

The Sainsbury’s employee said: “I spend my life on the internet but little did I know that talking to random people would lead to me finding this little girl.

Within two days I got his exact location. It’s a really weird set of circumstances that fell into place.”

Yvette was reportedly staying with Henley, 28, when grandparents Gary and Kim Forester won guardianship.

Henley was unaware of the outcome of the court hearing on June 20, which found Yvette was suffering “emotional damage” and in danger, and could not be found. He had fled with his partner and Yvette, but let slip his location by telling Surreybased Harry: “F***ing hate Arizona.” When Harry offered him pizza, Henley, who used the name Mark Johnson online, gave details of his motel in Kingman. Harry said: “He said he didn’t want any but his wife did. He gave me his address and room number. I rang Gary straight away.” Officers in San Bernardino, California, said they were told of Yvette’s whereabouts on July 9. The girl is now with her grandparents. Harry, who plans to visit, said: “I cried so much when I saw the photos of her with them.”
