Britons rate the French EU’S rudest

THE French are Europe’s rudest, say British tourists.

Old prejudices continue, revealed a study to find what people think of their European neighbours.

While a third of UK residents reckoned the French the most ill-mannered, Italians were said to be the best-looking and Germans the most reserved.

And the Danes were the most trustworthy, research from bus company The Original Tour found.

A poll of 2,500 adults from the UK, Spain, France, Germany and Italy rated Spain the best overall, with Britain tops for a sense of humour.

Greece was viewed as the angry man of Europe and Italy was rated the most generous with the most traditional values.
