She’s been named as the host of BBC One’s new daytime show Armchair Detectives, due to hit screens later this year.

The series combines a murder mystery with a game show (weird, eh?).

Three players have to discover whodunnit in the fictional town of Mortcliff.

Beeb bosses hope viewers will be able to play along with from the comfort of home and help solve the dastardly crime. Thrilled Scottish comedian Susan said: “I’m so excited to be presenting Armchair Detectives.

“I love a TV crime drama and now I get to help the British public and the contestants in the studio solve one.

I can’t wait to get started and get solving.”
