Coleen should not forgive Wayne..but I am not to blame
Party girl changes story in telly quiz ‘Just another tramp out for fame & fortune’
LAURA Simpson reckons she’s been “thrown under a bus” for her latenight road trip with Wayne Rooney.
I imagine that’s exactly where Coleen would like her to be. Or perhaps she’s more charitable than me.
It was a pathetic performance from Laura on This Morning. On the one hand, she reckons Coleen shouldn’t forgive Wayne. Yet, on the other hand, she reckons she did nothing wrong. That car journey was without doubt going to end in a pile-up. She and Wayne both knew it. They both knew he was married. Both are culpable.
I felt sorry for poor Holly trying to
WHIRLWIND
She described how she “fell into conversation” with the 31-year-old star in a Cheshire nightclub and later they got a cab together to pick up her car. Holly said: “That takes it to the next stage. My thing would be that as a female – sisterhood – I wouldn’t get in the car with a married man.”
Laura said it was “a whirlwind”, adding: “I was a couple of drinks down.” Holly replied: “Even then I wouldn’t.”
Asked what she and Rooney planned to do next, Laura said: “Going home.” She admitted dating footballers in the past.
She said she rang pregnant Coleen, 31, to tell her that nothing had happened, adding: “I do regret the damage it’s causing. But I don’t think I deserve everything I’m getting.”
Wife Coleen, who was on holiday in Majorca at the time of the drama last month, has been spotted in Manchester without her £250,000 wedding band. Rooney will appear before Stockport magistrates on Monday charged with drink-driving. introduce the word “sisterhood” to a woman for whom the concept is entirely alien.
She is just another tramp desperate to make fame and fortune by stealing other women’s husbands.
Still, at least she scrubbed up well for the cameras.
As my colleague observed: “She looks very professional.” Quite.
