What will you never cook again?

I made a wedding cake for my brother a few years ago and got through about 54 eggs. I kept making some mistakes. So no orders for wedding cakes.

What were your best and worst comments?

Best comment was for the clafoutis, which John said was “fantastic” and the worst was when I undercooked the rack of lamb and he said, “I can’t eat that”. And Gregg said my balls were dry. Which was rude!

How will your life change afterwards?

It’s given me a little bit more confidence. I was a good cook before but to go through the challenges and come out the other side has made me feel a little bit of validation.

Why should you win?

Because the only thing I’ve ever won is a yoyo in a crossword.

Was it stressful?

Yes! You’d be so tired. It was awful. I’d get home and they’d want the lowdown and I couldn’t speak. But I had super supportive husband.

If your life was a dish what would it be?

A big, warm bowl of risotto.

Food or sex?

Depends how long it lasts. And what age I was when it was happening.

Strangest thing ever eaten?

Brains I guess.

Would you do other reality shows?

I’ve done Dancing on Ice.

But this was way more useful than learning to skate.
