EMMERDALE
ITV, 7pm Gabby is back from her travels around Australia, and immediately sniffs out trouble when her mum Bernice is rude to Emma. But Gabby doesn’t know the truth about the videos yet, so there’s worse to come. Meanwhile, potential investor Kath shows up at Home Farm. Oh and Lawrence is hungover, again. Kerry provides the comic relief when she tries to convince Bernice to let her operate the new tanning machine.
CORONATION STREET
ITV, 7.30pm & 8.30pm
We love a Corrie protest, and there are plenty going on tonight. Aside from locals trying to keep the maternity ward from closing, there’s also a nasty surprise for the factory workers at Underworld.
They discover it has been cordoned off with police tape. What has Adam orchestrated in there? It leads Yasmin to muse: “I thought I heard a lot of banging when I was feeding the hens yesterday.”
EASTENDERS
BBC1, 8pm
An episode which is even more emotional than usual – it’s the day of Steven’s funeral, but the politics of who is attending rumbles on. As everyone prepares to leave, the family liaison officer arrives and Lauren twigs that there’s something they’re not being told.
Pushing the officer for more information, eventually the whole sorry truth comes tumbling out. Steven didn’t have a tumour. How on earth is everyone going to react?
