School bell rang time on Paradise
For a while, people thought Kris Marshall was leaving Death In Paradise to become Doctor Who.
But he’s now said it was for more practical reasons – his son is going to start school and he can’t spend six months a year filming in Guadeloupe, which doubles as Saint Marie. Kris says: “Every year except last year we took Thomas out with us.
“The only reason they didn’t come last year was because my daughter was only three months old. Thomas has spent half his life in the Caribbean.
“But now it’s time for him to put on scholastic shackles and toe the line.”
