St Paul’s fall kills woman

A WOMAN fell 100ft to her death from the Whispering Gallery in the dome of St Paul’s Cathedral yesterday.

Tourists are thought to have witnessed the tragedy at one of London’s biggest tourist attractions.

First aiders arrived within minutes but the woman was found to be dead at the scene.

The death is not being treated as suspicious by City of London Police.

A statement on the cathedral’s website said it was “deeply saddened at the death of a visitor”.
