Asteroid flies close to Earth

AN asteroid the size of a house will pass very close to Earth today.

The rock, known as 2012 TC4, is between 30ft and 100ft long and will come within 27,000 miles of us.

The near-miss will be used to test planetary defences and NASA said there was “no danger”.
