Junkie food restaurant

SHOCKING images have emerged of used needles and other drugs equipment scattered on the floor of a fast food outlet.

A horrified customer made the disturbing find when they went to use the Burger King toilets at Donegall Place in Belfast city centre.

Needles, painkillers and other drugs paraphernalia can be seen among overflowing bins. The images have been highlighted by the Communities Against Death Dealers group. What appears to be heroin residue also can be seen within a partially-used needle and on the floor, while mirrors were smashed and toilet paper dispensers partially ripped off the walls.

The Mirror contacted Burger King representatives a number of times over a 24-hour period but there was no response.

Last month it was revealed there have been 37 drug-related deaths in Belfast in the past nine months.
