Shots fired in house attack

POLICE are investigating after a man in his 30s escaped injury when two shots were fired at a house.

The attack took place at Upper Meadow Street in North Belfast before 7.25pm on Wednesday.

A PSNI spokesman said: “It was a reckless act that could easily have resulted in death or serious injury and yet another example of how criminal groups seek to control communities through fear and violence.”
