Becker ‘must not be paid’
BORIS Becker should not be paid directly for his TV work as a commentator, say insolvency lawyers.
They have written to European firms that employ the tennis legend, 49, saying money should be sent to administrators.
Simon Seddon, of Smith & Williamson, said: “We try to satisfy the creditors.”
Becker, £54million in debt, says he is only insolvent in the UK, but lawyer Jan Gross said: “Bankruptcy in an EU state is valid throughout Europe.”
