A Silva lining to Foxes’ struggle
LEICESTER CITY’S £22million new boy Adrien Silva is finally training with the club – but still can’t play.
FIFA have banned the midfielder from playing until January after they claimed documents arrived 14 seconds after the transfer deadline.
Boss Craig Shakespeare said: “He’s training with us. But it would be remiss of me not to plan for the worst-case scenario, which is we don’t have him until January.”
Leicester are to consider bringing in the Court of Arbitration for Sport after failing with their appeal.
