X Factor diva puts on airs and Graces

-

X Factor singer Grace Davies has not been winning any friends backstage, by all accounts acting like a bit of a diva.

Grace, 19, had one of her original songs hit the itunes top 10 last month and won the public vote on the opening live show.

But our X Factor source claims: “Grace acts like she has already won and is a big star.

“All her manners seem to have gone and since winning the opening week she has developed a bit of an attitude. It needs to stop.”

Last weekend, Grace was overshadowed by boy band Rak-su – now the bookies’ favourites to win – and singer Kevin Davy White.

And perhaps the stress of no longer being favourite has taken its toll. But Grace has apparently been rude and talks down to production staff, making a series of demands.

Our source adds: “She is not doing herself any favours.

“No one young in the music industry needs a reputation for being a diva. Sharon is her mentor and she is always very kind to the cast and crew so who knows where Grace is getting this from.”

Grace was also in the news for having a fling with singer Matt Linnen, 28, in the house, but is thought to now be concentrating on this weekend’s performance as there will be four evictions. A source close to Grace defended her behaviour and said her attitude could be down to her will to win – having narrowly missed out on big record deals in the past.

The source adds: “After years of performing in clubs and bars with little recognition, Grace hopes that this is her time for a big break in the music industry.

“This matters so much and she is beside herself that people may mistake her need to be a perfectionist as being difficult. The reality is she’s worked so hard for this and is taking the competition very seriously.”
