Stephanie gets her skates on
Hollyoaks actress Stephanie Waring is the final celeb to sign up for next year’s comeback series of Dancing on Ice.
She has met her professional ice-skating partner and said preparing for the series is a “daunting challenge”.
Stephanie, 39, admits: “The first day was pretty tough.
“I thought I’d be better than I was. I fell over once. It’s very technical. It’s the way you hold yourself, the positioning of your feet. Balancing is the hardest thing to do.
“I thought, ‘I can do yoga – I can obviously skate on ice’... No, Steph, you can’t.”
Stephanie, who has played Cindy Cunningham in the soap for 21 years, is the 12th contestant confirmed for the revamped Dancing on Ice.
She joins celebs such as Corrie stars Brooke Vincent and Antony Cotton,
Bake Off champ Candice Brown, Love Island winner Kem Cetinay and cricketer Monty Panesar. The show returns to ITV in the new year after a break since 2014.
