‘No curries’ landlord rap

A LANDLORD has been ordered by a court not to block new tenants on the grounds of their ethnicity

Fergus Wilson was banned from using the policy after he instructed a lettings agency “no coloured people because of the curry smell...”

He also tried to ban single mothers, battered wives and even plumbers.

At Maidstone county court, Wilson, 69, who has many properties in Kent, said his comment was “a bit of adolescent banter”.
