Extinct lion is found frozen

THE body of a cub of an extinct lion species has been found in “perfect condition” in the ice of Siberia.

Russian scientists said it may be possible to clone the cave species, which died out around 50,000 years ago, “back to life”.

Cave lions were once the largest big cats on Earth.
