Labour AM Jenny Rathbone said: “If allegations are made against you, you must know what they are so you can respond to them. That doesn’t appear to have happened.”
It has since emerged ex-communities and Children’s Secretary Mr Sargeant faced claims of “unwanted attention, touching or groping”.
It comes as Tory MP Charlie Elphicke, suspended over “serious allegations” says he still does not know what he is accused of. He denies any “criminal wrongdoing”.
