Welsh chief in quit calls after suicide

Labour AM Jenny Rathbone said: “If allegation­s are made against you, you must know what they are so you can respond to them. That doesn’t appear to have happened.”

It has since emerged ex-communitie­s and Children’s Secretary Mr Sargeant faced claims of “unwanted attention, touching or groping”.

It comes as Tory MP Charlie Elphicke, suspended over “serious allegation­s” says he still does not know what he is accused of. He denies any “criminal wrongdoing”.
