Charity glide for pets at 90

-

A BRAVE pensioner went paragliding on her 90th birthday to raise cash for her favourite pet charity.

Connie Smith had opted to go wing walking to help the People’s Dispensary for Sick Animals, but was over the 75-year-old age limit.

After taking to the skies above southern Spain, she said: “Everyone thought I was mad, but it was a fantastic experience.”

Connie, of Grantham, Lincs, started supporting PDSA at the age of seven. Her appeal is at Justgiving.
