TIPTON’S SICK OF STRUGGLES

- IRISH LEAGUE ROUND-UP

MANAGER Matty Tipton admits he is losing patience with misfiring Warrenpoint Town.

Having watched his team drop into the bottom two, Tipton (inset) has challenged them to put points on the board – starting today at the Loughshore Hotel Arena against Carrick.

“Eight points from 14 games is just not good enough,” said Tipton. “I’m sick of people telling me we’re playing well or we are a good footballing side. That means absolutely nothing to me. We have to buck up our ideas sooner rather than later.”

Cliftonville welcome Ballinamallard to Solitude in today’s only other league game while Crusaders visit Dundee United in the Irn Bru Cup (1pm).
