Kids’ dreams are crushed by PSNI post

CHILDREN hoping for an unexpected break from school have had their dreams crushed.

On Saturday night the PSNI took to Facebook with a warning about a bogus post.

A message, claiming to be from the PSNI stated due to an investigation schools in Randalstown, Co Antrim, will be closed from today.

An officer in the area said: “This is fake news.

“Schools are open for business as normal and there’ll be no excuses for not turning up.

“We are making enquiries into the origin of the fake post.”
