ALL GO FOR REDS & JOE
JOE Gormley bagged a deadly double as CLIFTONVILLE racked up an impressive 5-0 win over Ballinamallard United at Solitude.
Second half substitute Daniel Hughes also grabbed a brace after Jay Donnelly began the goal route early on.
“We’ve scored five and kept a clean sheet, so I have to be pleased,” said manager Barry Gray. “Ballinamallard may be at the bottom of the table, so I warned against complacency. Thankfully, the boys took my advice on board.”
Stephen Murray scored twice in the second half to earn WARRENPOINT TOWN a 2-0 win over Carrick Rangers at the Loughshore Hotel Arena.
The victory sent Matty Tipton’s boys up to ninth in the table.
They took full advantage after home defender Aaron Smyth was dismissed just before the break. It could have been even more convincing, but Darren Murray missed a penalty late on.
