Jamie wants low-tax food

-

TV chef Jamie Oliver has called for tax breaks to be given to food firms that cut salt, fat and sugar.

Jamie, 42, wants it to be more difficult for people to buy unhealthy food.

He said: “I would make it easier and cheaper to buy fresh, real food, and make it more awkward and more expensive to buy s***.”

A “sh**ty chicken shop” that used a less saturated fat would get a rate rebate. He said: “Nothing will make uncaring businesses care like a rates rebate.”
