Julie took her new lifestyle to extreme levels – she became a strict vegetarian eating vegan wherever she could, fitted water filters in her home to extract any chemicals from their supply, and replaced her household cleaning products with natural alternatives.
While her children weren’t vegetarian, Julie made sure all the food she ate with them was natural and healthy, and soon her efforts started to pay off.
“Within literally a month I felt like a different person. The difference was dramatic. I admit part of it was psychological – I felt like I had taken control and I was doing something positive. But the kids had both been poorly too.
“Isabella was on antibiotics every single month, but from being a really sickly child I noticed a huge difference in her. It was like night and day. After two years of struggling, I finally felt like me again.”
