Self-dubbed Queen of Mean Anne Robin­son has hit out at to­day’s TV stars for be­ing too emo­tional, say­ing: “I get very ir­ri­tated by all this cry­ing”.

Anne, 73, is bring­ing back The Weak­est Link after six years with a celeb ver­sion on Fri­day’s BBC Chil­dren In Need. She says: “I get ir­ri­tated ted by all this cry­ing. When hen I was in Fleet Street girls never cried. Some peo­ple cry very eas­ily. I’m not much taken with tears. They waste time.” ”

Speak­ing ahead ad of the show, Anne ad­mit­ted she was still con­sid­er­ing bring­ing it back full time. She also re­vealed she’s no longer on dat­ing app Tin­der after try­ing it out for a doc­u­men­tary in Septem­ber. She said: “I have noth­ing against it ex­cept all the men look in­cred­i­bly ugly”.
