TOWIE star Collins collapses in bathroom
TOWIE favourite Gemma Collins has collapsed in agony suffering from suspected kidney stones.
The reality TV star was discovered on the floor of a friend’s bathroom clutching her stomach.
Doctors were called to treat the 36-year-old, who had to cancel her filming commitments for yesterday. A source revealed: “Gemma was getting ready for the day at the home of her make-up artist Lisa when she nipped to the bathroom.
“The next thing Lisa knew was that Gemma had fallen to the floor.
“She called for medical attention and Gemma may now need to go to hospital.” But it is not thought the health scare will affect filming for her main show, ITV2’S The Only Way Is Essex, nor E4’s upcoming Celebs Go Dating series.
The bubbly Essex girl has struggled with ill health recently, suffering what have been described as “kidney stone symptoms”. This is the third time this month she has been taken ill. Gemma was forced to pull out of appearances at nightclubs in Brighton and Sheffield because of a water infection.
She has complained that she has had a “rough ride” this year but said her life had started to improve.
This latest setback came hours after she was pictured enjoying a booze-fuelled Christmas party with TOWIE co-stars James “Arg” Argent and Chloe Sims.
