Paid per view to see Brian’s show

-

MILLIONS apply to be in the audience of Strictly Come Dancing and tickets even sell illegally.

But Channel 4 and Brian Conley do not anticipate the same problem for his new series Hit Or Miss.

In fact they are so keen for you to go and watch it being filmed they will pay you in vouchers.

The company that organises the tickets said: “Each audience will see either one or two episodes recorded and then each member of our studio audience will receive a £20 John Lewis Gift card as they leave the recording studio.”

Brian’s 30-part daytime series for Channel 4 has sellers being given 90 seconds to pitch their wares – from toys to clothes to gadgets.

They have to keep their audience of potential customers interested, even when they tell them the price.

All the while, a handful of professional buyers for large, well-known retailers are watching both seller and the audience reaction.

If the seller manages to make a sale to the audience, then they get the opportunity to do business with the retailers.

But if it’s no sale, they get spun off the revolving stage, making way for the next dealer to make their pitch. The sellers better hope the audience are not just there to get their vouchers and are prepared to spend a bit of cash.

If you do fancy earning yourself a £20 voucher and can get to London between January 16-25, go to http://www.sro audiences.com.

A show spokesman said that studio filming would involve considerable time and participation and the £20 voucher was a “thank you”.
