‘Knife threat at allotment’ before killing

- BY TOM PETTIFOR Chief Crime Correspondent

A WOMAN threatened a fellow gardener with a knife as tensions rose before an allotment official was throttled with a cable, a court heard.

The body of Lea Adrisoejoko, 80, was found in a shed on the Colindale allotments, North London.

Her daughter Tessa told the Old Bailey an allotment holder took a letter, signed by witnesses, to her mother stating he had a dispute with a lady.

“It had been mentioned that the lady had threatened him with a knife.”

The witness said her mother had tried to help and was “sympathetic”.

Defendant Rahim Mohammadi, 41, of Hackney, North East London, denies murder.

The trial continues.
