EX-PM charges Chinese tycoons £12,000 each for dinner & selfie

DAVID Cameron is charging business bosses £12,000 for dinner and a selfie in China, according to a social media ad.

The flyer for the Shanghai International Ball and Leaders’ Forum has a picture of the ex-pm and a price in Chinese renminbi.

The revelation came as the ex-pm prepares to meet Chinese President Xi Jinping in his new role leading a governmentbacked investment initiative.

Mr Cameron is in charge of a £750million fund to improve transport links between China and its trading partners. As PM he hosted President Xi on a 2015 state visit to the UK in which they were famously pictured having a beer in a Buckinghamshire pub.

The inn became so popular with Chinese tourists it was sold to Chinese investors.

The ex-pm has raked in £120,000 for speeches about Brexit since leaving office.

A spokesman said the ad was part of “confusing” promotional material connected to his appearance at a women’s business forum. He declined to comment on the price tag. THIS glum-looking monkey looks positively bored by all the attention as it stares down a camera lens.

Danish wildlife biologist Mogens Trolle, 49, took the photo at the Jigokudani Monkey Park in Japan.
