Dragons’den vine king dies

A VINEYARD owner who won backing from Duncan Bannatyne on Dragons’ Den has died three months after he was diagnosed with a brain tumour.

Geoff Bowen was able to expand his award-winning Pebblebed Vineyards with the £60,000 investment.

About 30,000 viewers went to his website to buy wine after the 2011 show.

The married dad of two daughters died aged 53 at a hospice in Exeter.

His family said: “He is irreplaceable.”
