FLAMING tankers, train heists, flying cars and even the nose of a life-sized plane and all within an arena setting, it can only be the arrival of Fast & Furious Live.

The groundbreaking spectacular roared into life at the world premiere in London recently and we had front row seats.

Fans of the hit franchise finally got to see the action-packed stunts they’ve watched so often on the big screen come to life.

With a special guest appearance on the night from Vin Diesel, who played Dominic Toretto in the film series, fans of all ages were transported into the Fast & Furious world featuring nine of the spectacular cars from the movies.

Addressing the packed crowds in the O2 arena, the Hollywood star said they were in for “an experience they’d never seen before in their lives.” And he was right.

Everything from flying cars, flaming oil tankers appearing as if they’re rolling towards the audience, not to mention the incredible talent of the stunt drivers, Fast & Furious Live has to be seen to be believed. Personally I loved the films, so I

couldn’t wait to see some of the most incredible stunts come to life, particularly how that now infamous scene from

Fast 8 involving a submarine would play out in an arena setting.

Having had a little preview of how the show was coming together when we were invited to Fast Camp in September, I was left hungry for more, and I wasn’t disappointed.

Thanks to incredible 3D projection mapping technology, fantastic special effects and brilliant drivers, you are drawn into the world of the Fast Family.

Audience members are transported from the cool streets of Miami to the hustle and bustle of Tokyo, not to mention a train heist and a lifesized aeroplane all forming parts of the action-packed arena show.

From the heat of flaming exhausts to vehicular acrobatics, scene after scene unfolds – enhanced by the fantastic digital projection technology.

The show also features some of the world’s best stunt performers and drivers, as well as leading parkour athletes and credit where it’s due to these incredible performers as what they do is no mean feat.

Again, having had a little taste of the action when I was strapped in alongside one of the stunt drivers last year, I know all too well just how much accuracy and precision it takes to reinact the incredible stunts.

Two of the action men hail from Northern Ireland – the show’s lead stunt driver Chris Burns and “Drift Master” Johnathon Irwin.

They need to be at the top of their game to ensure safety is a key priority night after night.

Even if you’re not a huge car fan, Fast & Furious Live really is a show for the whole family to go and see.

Kids will love the action and drama of the incredible stunts, lighting, technology and not to mention the audience participation.

Fast & Furious Live revs into Belfast’s SSE Arena from May 4 to 6 and tickets are available from SSE Arena Box Office or via Ticketmaster.
