Claudia quits Instagram: I felt like a spy

CLAUDIA Winkleman has ditched Instagram, saying she felt she was “spying on other people’s lives”.

She said she suddenly realised how “bizarre” it was, adding: “Instead of living, I was watching other people living.”

Looking at the photosharing site gave her “an odd feeling”, she said – “like I was outside, staring at what they were doing, instead of doing something myself ”.

And the Strictly Come Dancing presenter said she was tired of the way people used the app to show off.

Claudia, 46, said: “It’s ‘Look at me!’ It’s ‘I can’t believe how great I look!’ It’s ‘We’re still in love!’”

She said she found it “totally odd” that people went on Instagram “so others ooh and aah”.
