Bill back on box as he battles on
Bill Turnbull vowed to keep working during his cancer treatment and he’s back on daytime today in a new series of Holding Back the Years.
The former BBC Breakfast presenter visits Britain’s first intergenerational care home, where you will see seniors mixing with toddlers. The concept is to break down the barriers that make Britain one of the most age-segregated societies in the world.
Bill, 62, announced earlier this month he is having chemotherapy for prostate and bone cancer, which is incurable.
His co-host on BBC1 today at 9.15am is Mirror columnist Fiona Phillips.
