COURTENEY Cox will marry Snow Patrol musician Johnny Mcdaid in Northern Ireland this summer, it has been reported.

The Friends actress is rumoured to be preparing to walk down the aisle in June, near her fiance’s home in Derry.

It is rumoured the pair will say “I do” on June 15 – the same day Courteney will celebrate her 54th birthday.

The screen star and the 41-year-old musician will follow that intimate event with a larger bash in Los Angeles, where the couple now live. A source told Closer magazine: “They’ve decided to have a small ceremony in Ireland at the local church near Johnny’s childhood home followed by a big party back in LA at Courteney’s Malibu home on the beach.”

The Cougar Town actress has been dating Johnny since 2013 after they were introduced by mutual friend Ed Sheeran. They got engaged the following year and are now set to marry, despite splitting up briefly in 2015. Johnny and Courteney were believed to be house hunting in Northern Ireland earlier this year. Reports said they were looking at a home in a gated complex in Derry.

In February, Courteney jetted to Dublin to support her other half as he was honoured by the Irish Music Rights Organisation of Ireland.

The brunette – who played Monica Geller in Friends – watched on as Johnny received the Outstanding Contribution to Songwriting Award. Meanwhile, Snow Patrol yesterday announced new Irish tour dates, ahead of the release of the band’s new album Wildness on May 25.

They will play Derry’s Millennium Forum on May 11, Cork’s Opera House on May 12, Killarney’s INEC on May 14, Dublin’s Olympia Theatre on May 15, the Wexford Opera House on May 16, Leisureland in Galway on May 18 and The Ulster Hall in Belfast on May 20.

Tickets for all the dates go on sale at 10am on Friday, March 30, via Ticketmaster outlets and www.ticketmaster.ie.
