‘Lonely’ film star dog dies

A MONGREL dubbed “the world’s loneliest dog”, who went on to work in Hollywood, has died.

Epileptic Freya starred in Transformers: The Last Knight after director Michael Bay read about her on Facebook.

She had been rejected by 19,000 visitors to a dogs’ home in Southport.

Owner Ray Collins, from Cheadle Hulme, South Manchester, thanked filmmakers “for turning her from the loneliest dog to one of the most famous”.
