TOM LINEHAM bagged a hat-trick of tries to inflict a second defeat of the season on the Wildcats.

The Wolves decided not to give Josh Charnley an early debut after his capture from Sale.

But Lineham (below) showed he is not ready to concede his wing spot, although the Cats fought back from 12-4 down to lead 14-12 at the break.

Bill Tupou impressed for Wakefield, but the Wolves hit back with tries from Bryson Goodwin and Mike Cooper before a 35-metre solo effort from Ben Murdoch-masila.
