NFL finale always has us on edge

THE mini-radios and smartphones will be at the ready tomorrow at all grounds for the blow by blow accounts of how it all unfolds. Hopefully we’ll have something like last year, when the final day of the League delivered mind-blowing excitement.

Mayo need to beat Donegal. Facing into Division Two, just weeks out from a Connacht Championship game against Galway - which they can’t lose - and with a few injuries to deal with, it’s a big ask.

Donegal’s Paddy Mcbrearty (inset) is injured and Michael Murphy is only finding his feet but it’s going to be a cracker.

Expect a big reaction from Mayo if there’s any pride in them after last week’s defeat to Tyrone. But Donegal have been virtually impossible to beat at home and they may just shade it.
