JESSE LINGARD handed Gareth Southgate a World Cup lift by netting England’s first goal in three games.
After goalless draws against Brazil and Germany, Southgate was desperate for a victory in Amsterdam as his men count down to Russia.
And Manchester United midfielder Lingard (above) delivered the tonic with a low strike on 59 minutes past Dutch keeper Jeroen Zoet.
It was Lingard’s first goal for his country as England
