But I mentioned Mark had his chest and back waxed and our dustman said to him, ‘What’s all this about waxing then?’ Mark went, ‘What the hell have you been saying on TV?’”
Being caught out might have left her a little hot and bothered but she is more than used to it. Linda began suffering with horrendous hot flushes when going through the menopause, before opting for HRT.
But when her sister Tina was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015, Linda came off the HRT, until they could prove the cancer was not genetic. The hot flushes came back with a vengeance.
“When you talk about hot flushes, you don’t understand it until you’ve had one,” says Linda. “You feel like your body is going to explode.
“I came off HRT for those 18 months but I still needed help.”
After Tina had some good news about her health, Linda has been determined to celebrate turning 60 with panache.
First, she tried marijuana for ITV’S Gone To Pot documentary, then she swam with sharks in Miami and finally Loose Women booked her for a skydive.
Linda adds: “Having smoked cannabis, eaten cannabis, swam with sharks, climbed Ben Nevis and jumped out a helicopter, there’s nothing I wouldn’t do.”
After a beat, she adds: “I mean, obviously, I’m not going to take heroin.”
