Posh: I’m at wedding but not making dress
Beckhams among guests for Harry & Meghan big day
VICTORIA Beckham has confirmed she and husband David will be attending the royal wedding.
Posh, 43, let slip she had received an invite as she appeared alongside basketball legend Shaquille O’neal on James Corden’s Late Late Show.
When asked by the host if she was attending Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s ceremony at Windsor Castle on May 19, she spluttered in reply:
“I, uh, I, I don’t know.”
James then fired back: “You are totally going.” And the singerturned-fashion designer conceded: “Yes. England is so excited. It is so great, isn’t it? They look so happy.”
The Spice Girl was earlier asked if she was designing Meghan’s dress, to which Posh replied: “I am not, sadly not, but I am sure she’ll look incredible.” Victoria appeared on the show to promote her new Reebok sportswear line with Shaq, 46. The former LA Lakers legend admitted he had known the Beckhams for a while – having once found ex-footballer David’s wallet in the street in Beverly Hills.
He joked: “Usually when I find a wallet I take all the money out and just throw them! But this was a nice wallet, so I look and it says David Beckham. So I tracked him down.”
Victoria also appeared to dismiss a live comeback for the Spice Girls this year, despite a meeting in February to discuss working together again.
She said: “It is not about us going on tour. It is not about us recording new material. It’s how do we pass the girl power message on to future generations?”
Meanwhile, Kensington Palace has confirmed Harry and Meghan’s wedding photographer will be Alexi Lubomirski, who also took their engagement pics. He said yesterday: “I could not be more thrilled or honoured.”
