New dads get snooze chairs in baby ward
A HOSPITAL has installed 20 reclining chairs in its maternity ward so dads-to-be can relax.
It is hoped they will now not have to go home or sleep in waiting rooms.
The move follows research showing fathers staying with their babies for longer improves initial bonding.
The chairs, donated to Torbay Hospital in Torquay, Devon, by its League of Friends, have already seen action.
