PASSIONATE ABOUT SUPER LEAGUE
Widnes v St Helens (3pm)
COACH Justin Holbrook has warned against underestimating the struggling Vikings.
Leaders Saints are hot favourites against a team heading for another
Qualifiers campaign after just three Super League wins. But Holbrook said:
“Widnes have been playing really well lately. They have been competing hard, are a dangerous team and we’ll have to play well.”
Wigan v Warrington (5.15pm)
TYRONE ROBERTS is finally feeling at home in Warrington.
The Aussie scrum-half
(left) took a while to settle but has had a key role in the Wolves’ 10-match winning run.
He said: “The first two months were tough, it was hard adjusting.
“But the body’s feeling good now. It will be tough against Wigan who are in form as well.”
Castleford v Leeds (7.30pm)
LEEDS scrum-half Richie Myler knows the Tigers can still roar despite the absence of Man of Steel Luke Gale.
The England no.7 is out for three months with a fractured kneecap and Cas have struggled to hit the highs of last season.
Myler (above) said: “He makes them tick, was a great player last season and is a loss. But they still have a lot of talent.”
Toronto v Toulouse (12.45pm)
TOULOUSE coach Sylvain Houles has been plotting Toronto’s downfall – while milking sheep.
Full-time Toulouse have their own Super League ambitions, but Houles said: “I still milk the sheep every morning.
“I consider myself more a coach than a farmer now, but that’s where I think the most about rugby.
“Milking sheep is pretty straightforward, so I can think about tactics and players.”
