Alpha males’ City pay gap

AN “alpha male” culture at finance firms is to blame for a gender bonus gap of 52%, MPS will warn today.

The Commons Treasury Committee says bonus criteria should be clearer as men get bigger rewards by arguing more forcefully.

Chair Nicky Morgan said: “The reporting of gender pay gaps at financial services firms confirms a large gap exists between men and women.”
