Then little known 24-year-old Gina Lollobrigi­da, far right, poses with fellow actresses Lia Amanda and Cosetta Greco at the 1952 Italian Film Festival in London. Over the next decade she would rise to fame as an ‘internatio­nal sex symbol’, starring in hit movies such as Beat The Devil with Humphrey Bogart and Trapeze with Burt Lancaster. She divorced her physician husband after 22 years in 1971. She is now 90.
