Then lit­tle known 24-year-old Gina Lol­lo­b­rigida, far right, poses with fel­low ac­tresses Lia Amanda and Cosetta Greco at the 1952 Ital­ian Film Fes­ti­val in Lon­don. Over the next decade she would rise to fame as an ‘in­ter­na­tional sex sym­bol’, star­ring in hit movies such as Beat The Devil with Humphrey Bog­art and Trapeze with Burt Lan­caster. She di­vorced her physi­cian hus­band af­ter 22 years in 1971. She is now 90.
