Meghan’s dad: I won’t shut up till royals talk to me

MEGHAN Markle’s father has taunted the Royal Family by saying he will not keep quiet until they stop ignoring him.
It came as the Duchess of Sussex’s half-sister launched an astonishing attack, telling her that if their dad dies: “I’m holding you responsible, Meg.”
Thomas Markle Sr, who yesterday spent his 74th birthday alone, went back on recent vows he had given his “last interview”.
Instead, he says he will revel in having silenced the Royal Family after a series of paid-for interviews and that he wants to have contact with Meghan.
He said: “I was silent for a full year and the press beat me up..., saying I was a hermit hiding in Mexico, so I gave my story.
“Apparently that interview put the Royal Family in their silence mode… so, I gave another interview to break the silence. All they have to do is speak to me.”
The retired lighting director, who Meghan has not spoken to for two months, added: “I’m enjoying the fact I can make the entire Royal Family not speak and maybe I can get a laugh out of the duchess.”
Later his daughter Samantha Markle, who has been Meghan’s most vocal critic, lashed out again.
She took aim at the newlyweds after their appearance at the Nelson Mandela centenary exhibition in London on Tuesday.
Samantha, 53, said: “How about you pay tribute to your own father? Enough is enough. Act like a humanitarian, act like a woman! If our father dies I’m holding you responsible, Meg!
“My father is not an embarrassment for loving his daughter! The royals are an embarrassment for being so cold. You should be ashamed of yourselves.”
She added: “Glad you have so much time to gallivant around... while ignoring your father. How cold can you be and look in the mirror? Harry? I guess I was right.”
Since joining the Royal Family, US actress Meghan, 36, has deleted all forms of social media.
Sources say it is partly to avoid seeing attacks from her family.
Thomas Sr, who lives in the Mexican town of Rosarito, missed Meghan and Harry’s wedding in May because of heart problems.
He was due to walk Meghan down the aisle at Windsor Castle but cancelled after docs told him he was unfit to travel.
